Two sides of the Media

Nowadays media is one of the subjects most talked in debates and symposiums. It’s accused to impose its own opinion, not opening spaces to discussions and not motivating a critic thinking. Such accusation is so strong that midia has already been compared with many bad things.
I can’t tell you that I don’t think the same. O f course I do. In my opinion, media not only impose their opinion, but it manipulates all our thinking, using programs without cultural information. But I notice a good side of the midia too.
First of all, it’s the biggest source of news we have nowadays, affirming our daily updating. Second, and most important, is what I think we should enjoy in media. When it publishes the news, it shows its opinion and it’s with this opinion that we search new ones. In other words, we create our opinions based in what media shows to us, in the media’s opinion. Our opinion can go for media’s or against media’s.

The problem is that a lot of people always comply with what media imposes, not having an own opinion. We need to mix a lot of information and then create a real opinion. Otherwise, we always will be commanded by the “demoniac” media.
